Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She's also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first female to be crowned the winner of at the CrossFit Games twice. Her second place was both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity - is a CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. She is also known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie was raised with her family in Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young child she has been a sport and fitness fanatic. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir participated in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir is 31, (by the year 2021). Her height is around 5'7 and she weighs 70 kilograms. Annie started her CrossFit experience in 2009 in California. She had a good performance during her first competitions. She was at the top of the list in 70 athletes. Although she didn't take home any titles however she was able to finish in eleventh place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. Because of her exceptional performances, she was able to take home her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie won again the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She was the first female athlete to win twice in CrossFit Games at once. In addition, in 2014 she won a silver medal and recently in 2021 won bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie is getting recognition for her athletic skills, has appeared in advertisements of sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs and others. She also has her own Youtube channel titled "Annie", with over a thousand followers. It is the channel where she uploads videos about the diet of her training, life with family and traveling.
