Zoe-perry
Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). In the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as seen by flashback) Her mother portrayed Jackie Harris in two of Perry's initial TV roles. Fearing stress, her parents didn't want to see the actress pursue acting until she reached the age of 18. Perry admitted that she wasn't comfortable acting in high school. However, she began performing as a means to make friends in Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. Perry following her graduation from Boston University, moved in New York in search of acting roles on television. She landed small parts in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness led her to California to find theater work. The Other Place was performed by her mother and her on Broadway in 2013 In the year 2015, she was together with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry played a role in 9 episodes of The Family, an ABC drama The Family in 2016. Perry was also featured in an appearance on ABC's political thriller Scandal along with her father. She played a younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off show from CBS's The Big Bang Theory was an additional portrayal that was younger of her mother. Despite the fact that she has a connection with her family to the character she received the role via an audition.
